Your Real Estate Agent will manage the “meet & greet” and have fliers and information available for the public, manage the online advertising and signage to increase traffice, but you can make or break an Open House with your preparedness.
- Make sure the home is sparkling clean and odor free.
- Remove vehicles from the driveway so guests have a place to park.
- Open all blinds and drapes to let the light in.
- Turn on the lights in every room so that each room is inviting.
- Do not use heavy perfumed cleaners, spices or air fresheners – those people with allergies will be driven right out of the house.
- Put pets in a safe, quiet area, or take them with you.
