Dave Cortright is the BEST Realtor i' ve ever come into contact with over my 15 year career in the Financial Services Industry. My wife and I first sought out Dave in February of this year (2011). We needed help in order to find our dream home and from day 1, Dave treated us with the highest level of care possible. He brought us in for a meeting to his office to discuss our needs and wants. He then developed a search engine that met all of our criteria in the home we were looking to buy and emailed them over to us daily. He scheduled visits to the homes to save us hours in time that we just did not have. I can honestly say, that Dave is an expert in all facets of the Real Estate arena. Our purchase of a short sale took many twists and turns that Dave was knowledgable about to the point we were able to navigate the purchase when others might not of. Dave has become a sincere friend as well over the nine months he spent catering to me and my wife's needs. I have had contact with numerous Realtors over the years in my career, and all too often their service and intentions seemed questionable at best. Dave is an honest person who delivers on his promises, and in this industry that is not the standard but the exception. Dave Cortright... he is Super Dave. Why? Since day one when I talked to Dave on the phone and explained that my family and I were looking for a house, Dave has been a great person to have on my side. It all started like a normal house hunt, and Dave was always there with listings and up to date info. He always answered my calls and emails right away. But the thing that sets Dave apart from the rest, is when we finally found the house we wanted (which was a bank owned) and the sellers made absolutely everything difficult and almost seemed to try to sabotage our purchase, Dave was always there taking care of business, making contacts, and getting stuff done. My family and I are now in our home and loving it, and I truly believe that had it not been for Dave and his dedication, we never would have made it! Dear Dave: My sisters and I are deeply grateful for the hard work put into preparing and selling our late father's house. Early indications were that that house would not sell well. It was in poor condition, and the local economy was not doing well. Furthermore, its unique architecture was dismissed by some of the people that came to look at it. You understood, however, that the uniqueness of the house was a selling point rather than a negative. When you were pushing for a higher value, I thought it was wishful thinking. I'm glad I was wrong and you were right. The list of repair items was daunting. Your guidance on which of those would be a good investment, coupled with your knowledge of the local contractor market was extremely helpful. I especially thank you for rushing over to the house during a rainstorm to prevent flood damage while repairs were in progress. You averted disaster. Of course, this was a difficult time for my sisters and I. We were saying good bye to our childhood home and good bye to our father at the same time. Your respect of the house is greatly appreciated.
